Design & Career Courses

Our distinguished institution combines world-class floral education with exquisite design services, curating natural beauty for the capital's most discerning clients.

Our career course runs continuously from January to November, it consists of four modules which can be taken as a full four week course or singularly to enhance your skills in one particular area.

Modules

Week One/Module One
Introduction to floristry and retail
  • Exploring and understanding flower and plant types, textures, design and colours Hand Tied gift wrapped bouquets 
  • Retail vases 
  • Flowers for a home, including vases, decorative plants and table-scaping New Covent Garden Flower Market tour and introduction to suppliers. Content photos for your social media.
Week Two/Module Two
Bridal Flowers
  • Learn how to make and design beautiful bouquets for brides and bridesmaids. Create a variety of boutonnieres, corsages and flower crowns 
  • Our expert tutors will show you how to design stunning table centre pieces, including tall  and short vases, candelabras and a ceremony arch. 
  • On the last day we will have a bridal photoshoot to showcase your designs for your social  media profile
Week Three/Module Three
Corporate, Hospitality and Events
  • Design and create corporate vase arrangements 
  • Large event vases and urns 
  • Staircase and fire surround decoration 
  • Woodland style table-scaping
Week Four/Module Four
Large scale installations
  • Probably the most exciting module of them all, but as this is an advanced class it is  recommended that you have some floristry experience or have taken at least one of the  other modules. 
  • Join the team designing and creating large structures for ceilings, exterior doors and floral  murals. 
  • Learn how to transform a room in to a botanical woodland landscape, using plants, trees  and floral structures

Two modules - £1900 each

Three or four modules - £1800 each

Lesson Times

Breakfast Club - 9.30AM

Lunch Break - 12:30 - 1:30PM

Main Lesson Time - 10:00AM - 4:00PM

On the New Covent Garden market tour days we will start earlier.

Breakfast club meets at 9.30am, please enjoy complimentary pastries and fresh fruit before you start your day.

In the summer months we have breakfast and lunch on our roof terrace, which has spectacular views over the City

Starting times can also vary for those wishing to participate in live installations. You will be given a welcome pack consisting of a tool starter kit, a branded apron and gloves.

All of your floral creations are yours to take home with you.
A certificate of achievement will be provided at the end of each module. You can participate in live photoshoots showcasing your creations which you may post on your private social media.
Guest master tutors, florist recruitment advisors and floral suppliers will be joining us to share their industry knowledge and to provide guidance and support as you launch your careers
